What is a drawer pack?
A drawer pack is a set of drawers comprising individual drawer boxes mounted on drawer runners and connected in a surround (the carcass). As a standalone item in a bedroom/living room this would be a ‘chest of drawers’. Integrated into a kitchen this would be a ‘drawer unit’ or a type of ‘base unit’. As part of a wardrobe this element would be simply called the ‘drawers’.
A drawer pack can be dropped into existing or new furniture.
Is building/fitting drawers difficult?
Building drawers involves lots of parts and they need to be prepared precisely.
If you have automated machinery and an organised system then all is good and this is exactly the service we are providing.
If you consider that a wardrobe is comprised of two sides, a top, bottom, back and doors (6 parts) and a drawer box comprises two sides, back, front, bottom, runners (6 parts) and then the fitting of the drawer is much more accuracy sensitive then it can be seen how drawers add considerably in terms of time and cost.
